purchased an AX-5/N231J T-Case combo as a replacement for my worn AX-5. I'm
now doing a motor/tranny swap and no longer need this replacement. The tranny sold
and now I have left this 21 spline, N231J T-case with only 76,000 miles on it.

It sat behind a 4 cyl Manual. AX5.. The input shaft spline count is the main issue on that one, It wont fit an AX15.
I know I'm a little upset.... But still might want it because it seems like a neat project to teach the kid on how to rebuild a xfer case.
The input gear could be swapped from a t-case that needs to be replaced. Its not usually the input shaft that goes bad.
