Anyone know?
What Model Trailer Is This?

m105

And that's considered a 1.5 Ton trailer ?
Actually, based on the design of the tongue, I would say it is an M101. I believe the M105 has a wheeled support.

Looks like it's in nice shape, but I think you'd waste most of a Jeep's towing capacity on the empty trailer.

That does look like a good trailer. I considered building one as it fits the Tacoma quite nicely. I just didn't want to deal with getting another trailer registered...

Yeah...I think you're correct. That combined with the normal 8-lug wheels ala m101a2/3 it's definitely not a 105. Good thing too as a 105 is 2750lbs empty!

There are no restrictions on the M101 for movement over primary and secondary roads, however, it is restricted to a maximum speed of 15 mph when towed cross-country.
15 MPH?

15 MPH? Not sure where that reference is from but I suspect they are talking about true offroad stuff. For stability, and to not trash the suspension, need to be careful on the speed when loaded. I can attest to this with my trailer as even with the shocks, it can get a little squirrely offroad if you are going too fast. Plus, being military, guaranteed it would be severely overloaded with some dude dragging it 60 mph behind a Humvee. At least they can use the "told you so" defense when it is on its lid...

Couple more pics
The bed tilts also, guessing that was an after mod.
He wants a lot for it, and I really don't have a need for it. I do think its nicely done though.

The M101s were built with a hinge for tilting - no dump feature,
you simply backed up, hit the brake, and hoping it didnt bounce
you out of the seat. The single biggest problem with these trailers
is that you cannot get a title for them in Delaware - they are
considered "unsafe." Ive never heard a real complaint with them,
and I've seen them go for $2000. If you want to buy it make sure
it has a valid title or you wont be able to get it tagged. -
Interesting on the title angle in DE. A guy at work here in MD just got one titled, not sure any of the details, so at least it is possible in MD.

Its a M101a2 if you want to get specific. M101a1 had the M37 lug pattern, M101a2 had the CUCV wheels/tires and M101a3s had the HMMWV wheels/tires.
It is an old argument, but the _happen_ to dump, they have a tongue that is designed to be folded for storage. They _can_ dump, but it may not hold up long term without some reinforcement.
