EVS?

Is the mopar EVS/EVS II security system useable on wranglers? Some of the descriptions say it's specifically for vehicles without power locks. I'm hoping that means vehicles without door wiring, and that the system is wireless, and that we could use such a system.....

Anyone know? Forum search turned up nada...

It sounds like it would.. I would check for sure with either the parts counter or some of the mechanics down at newark jeep.. I had an alarm in my CJ and with the way cj windows leak i soon took it out because it kept getting wet and going off.. ive never had an alarm in my YJ and dont plan on it... i dunno people just dont mess with jeeps like they do with other cars..
