Road conditions very slippery is is harder getting around in this snow then the last one due to the ice under the snow.
The total accumulation Friday and Saturday at New Castle Airport near New Castle, the weather service's only official snow measuring site in Delaware, was 25.8 inches.
The storm boosted the season's total to 53.9 inches, just 2 inches short of the previous record of 55.9 inches in 1995-1996, according to the National Weather Service office in Mount Holly, N.J., which has kept snowfall records in the Wilmington area since 1899.
And with up to 18 inches expected Tuesday night and today, the winter's snowfall would shatter the current seasonal record.
KEEP IT SAFE.
