-

Definitely a fun weekend! The courses were tough and my team dident do well this time around. It was nice to see team deja kicking ass though. I broke enough to keep me busy for awhile. . Thanks everybody that helped me out with my fixes through the weekend! Especially Aaron who welded a cut in half wrench to each side of my cracked upper control arm axle side mount. Definitely a cool functional trail fix that got me home in one piece. Trail riding today was a blast. The group I was with did awesome and we covered a lot of ground. I'm looking forward to next time!
Sucks about your rim. Glad the lug nuts came off. Had me worried for a few minutes. -
I'll have my little Coleman road trip grill with me if anyone needs it.
I won't be up until late Friday night, prolly leaving around 8:30 or 9. -
May 2nd is a good weekend here.
-
I have a cub scout meeting that Friday night. I was gonna miss it bit other the last regular meeting and I am the den leader and all, so I figured I should go.
So I won't be up there until late. Gonna leave as early as possible but the meetings usually run until 8:30 or so.
So save me a spot to park next to the Pete and I will be up 10:30 or so. -
i think its in the members section

if you have a 220v welder then i can help you make an extension cord to fit in the dryer plug. its always good to have anyway.
-
what Keith said, the experience of building something is priceless.
Jerry, i have a welder (with its own 220 outlet even) and plenty of driveway space. I also have an extension cord for it that we could hook up to work with your dryer outlet if that works.
We will find options for ya, and i really want to see how this turns out, so i will do what i can for ya. -
Planning on camping but wouldn't mind a bed in your trailer bmf24!
its yours.
so far i have
Stafford
Sal
Darksideand i have the front bed with my kid
The top bunk is open, but be aware its a small bed and it is a bunk, so it had to be some one light and skinny
if any one has a couple open seats for my son and i for the ride sunday that would be cool, its been a while since we were wheelin last.
-
I have a metal chop saw you can borrow. I havent used it in a couple years so you may need a new blade.
Aaron has a blade for metal that has teeth that cuts pretty true and lasts way longer.
-
I 2nd the box tube. It's also much easier to work on. If you build the frame nice and rigid the rest will survive much longer.
Also- I have an extra propane tank if you need one for exchange when you get to that point. -
Looks like you have some pretty cool ideas. Let me know if you need help, i may have learned a thing or two between mine and helping a little with the pete.
-
Stafford called a bed or two also. The bottom bunk is a doule bed- FYI
-
i'll be there with my kid, probably not wheelin unless the rental jeep is ready to go by then.
My trailer has 4 more beds then i will use. First come first serve. Dee gets dibs on the top bunk if she wants it.

i didnt read the whole thread, so it may have been mentioned. Look at teardrop trailers. There usually custom built so you can make it how ever you want.
You dont even have to keep that design, you could change it to how ever you wanted. I have seen some with a nice queen bed inside and a full set up kitchen on the back with storage and lights that were towed behind a motorcycle, so i know you could do something for your jeep. -
