If you have a dual post battery make sure your winch is hooked to the top posts. That’s all I got

Nice Fish! I saw this on FB and didnt realize it was you. I hit the Sass today and only managed to catch half a dozen small stripers. Tried to get into the LLoyds also but the tide was way low and I couldnt get much farther than the first dock. Still beats working!

Try disconnecting the battery? Maybe it just needs to relearn?

I hit the sass last week. Only caught a few small stripers, some perch, one largemouth and a big ass carp. Installing new electronics on my boat tomorrow. If it’s all done I may hit a pond or maybe the sass again on Wednesday.

All of the roadkill, dirt everyday and hotrod garage are now available to watch on Motortrend.com for free. You will still have to wait a month for the new episodes if you don’t pay for a subscription. All of the old roadkill content will stay on YouTube and old episodes are still able to be watched on velocity. While they are making the transition they are offering motortrend on demand for $2.99 a month. I think it’s $4.99 normally. It blows but at some point someone had to make money of the shows. Follow Finegan and frieburger on fb and they explains a lot of what’s happening.

My guess is we might skip the Amature line mountain race and wheel RC on Sunday? Otherwise I’m not dragging my rig up there.

I've got the tuffy version of this in the back of mine and it has worked out well. It was used when I got it and the lock mechanism is a bit fubar but it serves the purpose. Slides out nicely over a CJ gate.

You guys have obviously never seen Geoff pack for camping. I’m thinking instead of storage boxes he needs an off road trailer.

Considering they are Tuffy, I half expected them to be $500. Club discount might help? If you are really trying to keep that rear tub open that may be your best option. I used to just stuff the tow strap under the passenger seat or in the rear footwell and a D-ring or two on the bumpers. Never needed much more then that unless I was wheeling, in which case I would have a soft tool bag with a snatch block and a plug kit and a tree saver.

These seem like a decent option. There are other peeps who make non- locking style over the fender storage too.

You should think about sinking that rear bumper into the tub under the tailgate. That chunk of 2x4 box will look silly hanging out like that.

Psh excuses...

We sent my dads 4.8L LS heads to Accurate to get checked for cracks ( we suspected one might be bad) and have new valves and seals installed. Guy said two weeks.... 4 weeks later after repeated calls he says they are done And they are all good. The heads looked exactly the same. Didn’t look cleaned and no sign of dye or anything indicating they were worked on. Installed the heads and just like before within a week or two a cylinder filled with antifreeze the engine hydrolocked and bent a rod. I’m glad you found someone else as I would never use those d-bags again.
