Paul - Andrew covered your question. It is not an extra fee if you camp Friday night. Also Comfort Inn gives discount rates for those at RC. Mainly why I stay there.

Andrew- sorry to hear that you probably won't be able to make it. So far, it looks to be all modified or extreme that have signed up. I was actually hoping I could lead one of the groups that weekend. I would be more than happy to step up and lead Deja then.

Thanks guys. After I posted that I realized that BMJA would probably have pictures of the whole incident and saw them.

I am really glad to see that no one was hurt in that roll. And I can't believe the Jeep afterwards. That crest in which the roll occurred has been getting worse every time we go up there and now it is hardly wide enough to be passable.

I bought one from OffRoadToyStore. It was very complete and only took about a half hour to install but took another half hour to adjust it perfectly.
I only use it for my OBA since I have an automatic but still is a nice feature for cruise control.

I will be leaving my house a little early to head up to Paragon and meet up with Icky up there. I will meet everyone heading up from the Wawa at the Exxon right before Paragon.

Just wanted to let you guys know so no one is waiting for me at the wawa.

I just recently went through another round of where is that vibration coming from???.

Mine ended up being two things: my LCA bracket was mangled and eventually the weld broke. Fixed that and still had somewhat of a problem.

Check alignment; center the front axle (adj. trackbar); check front d/s u-joints; check rear d/s u-joints; torque all control arms.

I did all of this and it ended up being the u-joint in my rear d/s.

    Today I am vibe free.

Oh and if you don't have an SYE check your pinion angle in the back.

    All Fixed Up!!!!!

Thanks to Turtle for the air tools and driveway, Artie for the Rear LCAs (stock but new to me), and Dave (Elff) for the Front LCAs (also stock but new to me). After some fun with the impact and a hammer, I put in the new LCAs to replace my bent, bowed, destroyed ones. All vibe free and drives like a dream, yet again.

Prior to this past trip to Paragon, I went to NTB to get my free balancing and alignment. Seemed much better. Go to Paragon on Saturday and on the way home was getting some interesting vibes. The vibes mainly showed up on deceleration (when I took my foot off the skinny pedal). Thought maybe the alignment was off, so out comes the tape measure. ... Ended up the alignment was still good. Thought it was the balancing.....rotated the tires. Still had the vibes. Thought it was the front driveshaft...... took it off. Still have the vibes.

My last thought was something was wrong with my gears, spiders, something in the front diff. Took out the plug and the gear oil was pretty thick and has some very small metal shavings inside.

I am going to take off the whole cover and do a closer inspection this weekend and change the fluid as well. Just didn't know if I was missing something obvious or even something not so obvious.

    Any suggestions appreciated.

I'll give the trail report for the Modified group for Saturday's run. In our group we had, Nikki (NikkiYJ) with Erica's mom, Scott (DeiselCJ) and his girlfriend, Jared (JBates) and his girlfriend, and Joe Lovett (JoeLove) with his da.

We started out on the upper leg of Chicken Run. This proved to be a good starting out trail with a little bit of spotting, tree to windshield frame (#5 for me), and a lost bolt on a power steering tensioner. Back on Coal Road we fixed up DeiselCJ's tensioner and Joe beat his fender back to shape (he must really want those PSC tube fenders  ). We then headed over to Rubicon Lake and watched Joe go vertical on us. (Hope somebody got a picture of that). From there we tried a section of Whampom. This proved to be a challenge. Joe went up first to give everyone an idea of how to do it. I followed, along with Nikki with little problem. Scott started to make it up the hill when his front end started sounding like it was binding. We all tried to get him up the hill but decided to back down when the noise got worse. Jarrod gave his try up the rock face and made it without much trouble. From there we made it across the park and also couldn't find the turn off for Ridge Rd so we also went down Muddy Trail Bypass. From there we met up with the hardcore group to watch them on Voodoo.

Any day of wheeling is a good day. I had a blast and hope that everyone else in my group also had fun. It was also good seeing some new faces on the trails.

    Quote from "DieselCj"

Should I bring food for the day on saturday? Are there any convenience stores around near paragon to grab subs or something like that from?

Most of us usually grab a sub at Wawa for lunches, or there is a subway at the exxon right off the blue route when we get off at Paragon, or there is a sub shop in the exxon we stop at a mile down from Paragon. I have tried all of them and they are all good.

    Looks really good Chris.

Anytime you want to take measurements, look, (just don't take them off) at my rockers, let me know.

Glad to hear the install was pretty good Brian! Can't wait to see them at the meeting.

Also, I have dealt with the guys at Auto Truck Outfitters on 202. Super nice guys and very good to deal with.
