they were the bronco sport, completely different vehicle from the bronco
Holy crap, you ain't lying! The sport is unibody and the Bronco is full frame. Never knew that.
how many miles?
Hi Guys!
My TJ with an nv3550 just started to grind going into 3rd. If I'm accelerating real slow, it doesn't grind. I was hoping a trans oil change would help, but no help.. So the question is, how do go about fixing this? Is this something that my local shop can do, or should I take it to Jeff Daniels, or AAMCO??
I was checking out Xtreme Performance and Midwest Transmission Center, but that's all I've done.
Thanks,
Kevin
never been, but have family in St Clair. I will ask them.

The speakers are not original, and I found nothing like it when they were pulled.
Foam gasket from HVAC system

The HVAC gaskets are of different material (more rubber-y) and the pieces that have fallen to the floor are flat, like a sheet. Someone on the internet said it was from the A/C evap. they said it was a sheet to collect condensation that might get thrown off the evap. I can't find any pics to confirm this. Still looking..
After getting the TJ back from Jeff Daniels for frame repair , I found another piece of 'black sponge' on the floor. Does anyone know what this is from? I've been looking all over the internet to get info on what it is, and how to fix/replace it.. I grabbed a pic of it. it looks like a thin, black Scrub Daddy cleaning sponge.

I wanted to give it time to re-trigger the code. so far, so good! it even 'feels' better (but that could be placebo effect ) Thanks for all the help!
Next up: fixing burnt A/C switches..

GOT IT! I twisted the connector from the bottom(clockwise/counter clockwise). After I got it off, I couldn't find the red tab and said 'oh well'. After I got the new coil pack on, I found the red tab, so off it came so I could get the tab back on..
We'll see how this goes. Thanks to all for the help!

well today will be my next attemp to get this thing off. I'll let you know how it goes!
I have misfire on 4 and 5. Got thru inspection with new plugs, but that held me for 2 months and codes came back.
Hi everybody, I'm trying to replace my coil pack, but I can't get the plug off the old one! I slid the red tab out, but that sucker will not budge. I've tried two different times and both times I got nowhere. I've watched vids on youtube, but that sucker is stuck! I took channel locks to it, but I don't want to destroy the plug. I was thinking of trying silicone lubricant but i'm concerned about messing up the connection. Any suggestions to get this thing off?
Thanks,
Kevin
just an update: mechanic made a fitting and the vent tube. it had multiple misfires, and we did plugs and the check engine light has not come back on!
Thanks for the help.
I had the fuel lines replaced a week ago, the mechanic mentioned the broken 'T' adapter in the vent. yesterday the engine died and gas was everywhere. I think mechanic thinks it's the vent tube. I'm thinking he is wrong and it's the fuel lines (that he put in) are leaking...
I need part no. 52100185AB. The entire internet seems to be out of stock. does anyone have any idea where I can find one, or have a solution?
Any help would be appreciated!
Thanks,
Kevin

If they are for a TJ, I could use 2 upper and 2 lower.
I'm in Phoenixville and could get them some time over the w/e or next week.

not a fan of the PB interior, but it has less than 100k on the clock!
I actually would rather install a white light behind the star, rather than a red one. Am assuming that it doesn't have to be red by law. I'll need to brush up on the wiring harness color codes so I'll know just which wire to tap into for the running lights.
In PA you cannot have white lights on the back of a vehicle while it is moving forward.
any possibility that it just needs a good reverse flush?
