Congrats fellas, it looks like you all represented the "surf fishermen" well! Aaron, I love the new tub...

Saw your YJ at the Happy Harry's in Elkton on Saturday morning (it caught my eye because it looks just like my old one). I was in the wife's JK...yes with the top off . Now put the crack pipe down and step away from the keyboard.

http://www.twingroveparkcampground.com/Steve would not last 3 sec. in that place. That or he wouldn't be any fun, one of the two.
Copy and paste from the RULES section of the web site:
Alcoholic Beverages: This is a family campground. Alcoholic revelry is strictly prohibited. Carrying open alcoholic beverage containers in public areas is also prohibited. We reserve the right to evict any intoxicated or disorderly people.
You know I'm all about the revelin'! Found out we have to go to a 60th wedding anniversery the day of the comp., however I'm still gunning to come up for the 101 day in the JK. -
Wow. I guess JK's do make people soft.
I'd be fine with checking out one of the camp grounds. Echo Valley has a bad rep so maybe we can check the other one. (Forgetting the name right now.)
Are Kat and the kids going?
You know how I roll! I'm fairly certain Kat and the kids would be down for this one providing we stay at a campground. I'm sure the girls will do something other than the comp. on Sat., but they would all be down with an easy day for the 101. -
Is there any chance anyone would be interested in staying at a local campground versus the parking lot "facilities"? I'd be interested in making a weekend out of it myself, but a hot shower and toilet at the end of the day would be nice. I know you guys are hard core though, this is just a feeler.

I'd bet my money it's the plugged drain tube for the air box. I pulled the grate on the cowl, cleaned out the pine needles, cleaned out the drain tube, and never had a problem again.

Depending if I can get off of work I'm def. in. The sooner I know a date the better, and if it's around a holiday...no chance I'll get off.

For those who need a mortgage guy, I HIGHLY recommend working with Ryan
X2, Walked me through a refi a couple of months ago, got me a smokin' rate, and saved me a good chunk of change in the process. Excellent, stand up guy to work with. -
Hey man, there are quite a few of us on here that are fond of low buck, red neck engineering. Not all of us on here have the money for CNC laser cut, titanium carbide, chrome dipped....(insert whatever the latest fad is here). One last bit of advice, if you haven't already make sure you add some type of retainer bands to the leaf pack to keep them from "fanning". Rock on man.
-
I've made "bastard" packs on a few occasions in my day and I applaud your low buck approach. They don't flex nearly as well but...eh, the price is right.

What he said. I have an uncle that does marine canvas and he hates to do automotive work...but in the winter months when things are slow he can often be persuaded to tackle a project or two. He's too far away to help you in this case but I would suggest calling a few local marine canvas places and see if you get a bite.

SLOPAR spotted me into an abyss and I was dumb enough to listen.
It always comes back to me on that one huh? As far as locking a Dana 30, as others have stated just use common sense with the go pedal and you will be fine. I converted to alloy one piece shafts with an aussie locker in my YJ on 33s and rocked that for 3-4 HARD seasons without issue. -

Psst, Dallas at Philly @ 8:20PM.

Pumpkin Ale on tap...in.

My father in-law (computer geek) turned me on to Chrome awhile back. I was reluctant at first but he said to give it two weeks...I haven't looked back since. I love it.

I love me some G.R.I.T.S., hard to find up here.

He broke a U-joint on the rocks at Dictum.
Is that what they call it these days? -
We are having a blast. Chief just got Dict. Gonna be a drinking night!
Wow, knowing your side job and the fact that Chief just got "Dict."...kinda glad I passed on this one. There's not enough beer in the world....
