Autorust and Pocano metal have replacement frame sections if the frame is too far gone. Others have drilled through the top of the frame and used a long bolt and nut. There are also larger nutserts and weld in replacement nuts for the frame rails.

leaving it in 4wd on the road is a good way to break stuff. Sounds like the linkage needs adjustment. Its a simple proceedure that any shop can do.

Since you already have a BL, have you thought about a motor mount lift? That's the setup I've run for awhile with a similar lift height.
good suggestion or maybe a 1" trans skid drop.

drive shaft angle issues. U need to shim the rear axle or get a sye and cv shaft
-
well it would be crank bearings not cam bearings causing the issue. Also these motors generally run a long time on 1psi for every 100 rpms. The fact u see low psi at idle (under 5) is not unusual after 100k miles on the motor. The fact that it has noise may be more of a concern. Remans will be about $2k, good used are around $500.

it was a good complete kit. I think the guy added the adjusable front tb which i would do if not included.

i have a cable speedo if u need it. There are 4 sets if numbers in the speedo gear holder and a number on the gear. U need to match the number with the range on the holder and point it at the tick mark on the aluminum tail housing. Doing this wring will destroy a gear or guve u an inop speedo.
Also make sure the cabble is seated properly in the speedo and at the tcase

shoot me a private message when u decide on a direction and i can give u a rough labor estimate

well im the guy that installs most of the gears and welds all the tj frame rail sections around here so i could install the springs and shocks. I would install what ever u brought over but u would be responsible for all the parts.
I didnt think the rubi stuff was much of a lift? Im pretty sure a 33 will fit in a stock suspension.
I put a mopar lift in a jl a few weeks ago and it was a well thought out kit but pricey.
Also not trying to drum up business as i probably wont have time for the install till late aug because of my own projects and working in the garage with high temps sucks.

just keep the stock tires for inspections. Also u dont have to go through inspection for more 3 yrs. Not hard to just swap them out for a few days.
-
some people use garden bed edging from lowes and zip tie it on. You can always get indpection tires. Dmv policy is 1" max, u may be ok as the dmv is pretty hands off because of covid.

i use a better autel scaner but their r a ton to choose from.
If u cant figure it out u can go to a regular shop u dont need a dealer. I can recommed a few in wilmington but not sure of your local.

got a used 1.75" bb tj lift with skyjacker shocks for sale. $50.
-
i would try puling the battery cable for about 20min and reconnect. See if it resets the system. If it doesnt u still have a fault that needs to be diagnosed.
-
most likely the 3rd gear syncro. U can get a reman or junk yard trans and replace it or have your serviced. The local shop in wilm i would go with is Joe Shillings trans.

this place keeps popping up now and again. It seems to be some families land that used to get mined. Similar to aoaa. They allow access for a fee. I dont think there are any kind if facilities, support or policing. Havent found any good mapping either. It probably has potential but not sure the effort is there. They did run a comp there last year and i heard it was a good event. Give it a try and report back.

u either have to drill a hole into the sensor and use an easyout to pull the broken part out ot buy an entire hub bearing assembly. It will come with a new sensor. U can not take the assembly apart.
-
dont for get the yearly membership fee of $20 at rc.
No on site camping at aoaa just the campground, but its only $30 a night to camp. So its the same price but the aoaa camping is nice with electric.
