I thought the Power Programmers were VIN locked and you had to program back to stock before you could use that unit to program another vehicle.
They are VIN locked and you are correct.

I have a tilt column out of a 1994 YJ but it's missing the turn signal/wiper lever and the turn signal switch is likely messed up. Open to offers if you can use it.
Welcome back! I bought a 1994 Sahara off of a friend of your about 5 years ago that I'm hopping to have back on the road next month.
Welcome
I'm running a Luk clutch, flywheel but I spent a little more money and bought a National metal throwout bearing. Shadyluke does repairs like this at his home shop AKA Lightning Fabrication.
I think if you got $400-$500 for that set up in that condition you'd be doing good.
Thats a old Snap on top and bottom box from the late 70's up to the early 90's if you look at the back on the box it should had a model number stamped in it. Looks like this one http://www.ebay.com/itm/Snap-o…7e8bee:g:-xIAAOSw~y9ZBgt5 Condition plays a big part with what used tool boxes bring.
Look like it was offered last year here's what I found. http://performance.ford.com/en…ademy-driving-experi.html
The CJ5 has been sold to a good home. I didn't use the cash for Jeep parts, but put it towards something a little faster. 2017 Ford Focus RS. My commute to work on the back roads is awesome. A lot of Tech in this car, sport mode, track mode, drift mode, and launch control. Don't get me wrong, I'm still a Jeep Guy, and you see the front of the JKU Rubi in the picture.
I have a friend who just sold his M3 and bought A 2017 Focus RS. He loves it so far and he says it's faster on the autocross course than the M3 ever was. Good luck with it I hear Ford even offers a driving school with the purchase of a RS.
I know it's not my money but for the $175.00 Ayers Custom Shop wants to tint the hard top windows and door windows I think that's the route I'd go.
Not hard to do yourself. Since the glass is easy to remove and reinstall should be pretty easy to get seamless coverage.

Yj hard tops are set with urethan not rubber like a CJ plus the cost of the window if it broke removing it isn't cheap.

Seems like this project has taken forever but when I stop and think that I only work on it 10-12 hours a week I'm happy with where it's at. Once again Thank you Luke for the use of the shop and all your help and also for keeping me in line the few times I've wanted to just sell this project off.
I heard the count was over 300 Jeeps but it's hard to say because they were parked in neighbor parking lots.
I'll be there since it almost in my back yard, plus I've been to almost all of them since the beginning .
Maybe something to look into as it may be easier to swap from the hardtop to soft top. http://www.softopper.com/jeep-suv-tops/jeep-wrangler-jk-2 I'm going to get one for my YJ once that project that turned into a frame off rebuild is done.
Bob my factory service manual for the 2000 XJ I had, seems to have grown legs and walked away or more likely my brother loaned it to someone and never got it back.
