When I bought my Brown Dog 1" motor mounts years ago they didn't offer the rubber bushing option, all though the vibration isn't bad if I had to do it over today I'd go with the rubber bushings. I believe you can buy just the bushings now for the Brown Dog mounts.

I had mine replaced for free under a recall back in 2004-2005 may want to look into it I'm sure if you google it you'll find info on it..

Listen to chris. Tail light ground issues cause all kinds of crap to go wrong. Check the simple things first.
X3 check the grounds at the tail light. -
I vote for this http://www.shafiroff.com/chevy…engine/427-realstreet.php so version of it!!!!

Maybe if you let your wife take the Jeep to the DMV the results would have been better!

To the original poster just a fyi the bleeders on that set up are on the bottom, trust me they are a b*tch to bleed and I've often unbolted them and hung them from some wire and just let them gravity bleed to get a pedal. I know this is for a 1st Gen Dodge Cummins but they used the same calipers as you have on your CJ. http://wiki.dieseltruckresource.com/wiki/Drum_To_Disc

ok have been monitoring things and i have seen that at round 1800 RPM's I get a what feels like a miss. above and below good.May be worth pulling the valve cover and see if you have a weak or broken valve spring. I've see a few on high mile 4.0L's.

Make sure the brake dust shield isn't hitting the rotor.

Jerry is correct about the linear amp is not legal to use. It will also piss off people on the trail. We run so close together that if you were to key up it would walk all over anyone else who was transmitting. I'm not sure if 200 amps will damage another radio close by but I know some of the larger ones will. I have a cousin that used to have a 1000 watt linear amp on his base station CB and huge antenna mast on a hill. He could really reach out.Hey I know that guy!

Could always start here.http://eastcoastgearsupply.com/i-2763540-ford-8-8-rear-axle-bolt-in-tj-assembly.htm I've only ever bought parts from them once or twice.

Honestly after looking at the picture above I'd make sure all your lights are good and run it though and see what if anything they fail you for.

If the tires are load range E and your are interested in selling just the tire I may be a buyer if the price is right.

Bob have you tried contacting Philabundance I know they get very good deals through suppliers and get what they need at a very good price. I heard them talking about that on my way into work one morning.
