ok have been monitoring things and i have seen that at round 1800 RPM's I get a what feels like a miss. above and below good.

You can bore out a 390 to a 401 or a 351 to a 401 as well.

New fuel pump and coil..... code came back a week later. I am going to check the vacuum once more

Just cleaned off the diff tag and found out why I cant get out of my own way. 3.07 gears.
SO i am going to buy some 4.10s or 4.11s and I need a good place or someone willing to work with me to regear the TJ.
Does anyone have the experience level to do this or know a good shop? [size=78%] [/size] -

another owner told me he had the same issue, replaced all that I have and once he replaced the fuel pump all the problems went away. I think it is the coil based on issues I have run into rebuilding cars in the past and similar issues with ruff running. I was told that coil packs don't go bad, if this was true they would never have to sell replacements. With almost 150,000 miles it will not hurt to replace the fuel pump anyways.

rechecked compression and all 150 or more.
I am changing the fuel pump this week and I ordered a new coil pack, this is the last things I can think it is. -
Had a great time and met some nice folks. The rain and cold did not scare away everyone. Will be there next year.
