I'm hoping to have the YJ ready for the JFJ run to A.I. DuPont in December. If not, then I guess I'll have to just cruise in the ZJ for the event.

Ohh hey Cody. I didn't recognize your Jeep. From the way you were laying under there I thought you might have broken something in the driveline.

Did he break a ball joint? or knuckle?
The weld snapped between the axle tube and the knuckle which also snapped the weld on the lower shock mount.

the airshock shaft has been bent for so time now. All we can figure is that the weld on the bottom of the inner C has been broken for as long as the shaft has been bent.
The air shock was (I think) welded mostly to the axle tube, but when the inner C broke loose it took the air shock mount with it.
When we took it off the trailer we noticed that the very end of the axle tube (that sits inside the C) was actually bent a little from the C rocking up and down for so long.
cool, I was just curious as to the placement as it has been the new hotness to put airshock tabs on the inner C....
