Pine Barrens Trip (early spring)

Have you figured out where you're going in Wharton State Forrest?

Only if you want to follow the blind......But the great thing about the pine barrens is, if you get lost just keep driving straight and you'll eventually hit a road. Its not like you'll accidentlly end up on a red or purple trail butt clinched the whole way throuh.

What are people who are camping doing tent-wise? All I have are two tents one which is a 4 person and one which is an 8 person. I have been looking to pick up a small 2 person for solo camping trips like this. Anyone have any recommendations?

I have an EMS Sugar Shack 3. Its perfect for 2 people and some gear or one person and is still light enough and small enough to do small hikes with. It just cost a couple bucks but is so far sturdy and the setup/ break down is easy.

It is big enough for one person to be comfortable and is really easy to setup. Mine has never leaked a drop, even when it rained on us for 2 days straight in VA. You can find them on amazon cheaper then Eureka sells them direct for.

This was my second pick but ultimetly went with mine because it has a front and back vestibule for storage.

Either use your 4 person tent or I have an Eureka...something...2 person tent you could borrow. (or maybe it's a 4 person [packed as sardines])
