95 wrangler question

    have a friend who has a 95 jeep with 4cyl with 5 speed..


    she said trans is grinding and also when she comes to a stop and has jeep in neutral it feels like it wants to shut off.. i guess like it is still in first gear..



    would anyone have a lead on a used trans for it????

    Thats about as vauge of a description as it gets . could be driveshaft, clutch, breaks or a host of other things. Someone with a little more knowledge needs to look at for her.

    Edit: Assuming she is in neutral and it starts to stall out my first guess would be clutch.

    i was kind of thinking the trans but the clutch is a cheaper fix..


    once it warms up i may look at it.. too dam cold right now
