** 2014 Delaware Mud Run Signup **

Texted or otherwise contacted everyone this morning who doesn't already have a shirt from a previous year to get sizes/names. Trying to get the order in early so we don't crush our manufacturer (Lisel).

As of now we have 5 teams filled out and I don't believe there is anyone left over. I have 2 possibly 3 other friends who are probably going to form a team so if we have who does still want to run let me know.

Tshirts have been about $11-12 in the past. Will update with exact cost when we get closer.

Also, our time slot is now sold out. 8:40 and 11:40 are the closest times.

I may have just ordered a bunch of stuff, I might be weighed down a bit by all the fake gold.

Just a reminder, everyone needs to click on the link in the email from your captain and accept the invitation to the team. If this isn't done by Sept 4th very bad things happen. Also, make sure you pay your team captains including the tailgating spot if you got one.

There's nothing to dread, no one cares how fast or slow anyone runs. It's all for fun.

They seem to be posting more stuff on fb this year and not sending emails out with all the logistical details. Someone on each team will need to pickup each teams packet this week. In there are the race bibs which can be distributed the morning off and parking passes. There is regular parking and the tailgating spots. I think more or less each team has one tailgating spot so I would plan on whoever is going to bring their vehicle in for tailgating be the one who picks up the packet. There is also one regular pass in the packet. You can pay at the gate if you don't have a pass.

**I would plan on getting there by 8am or earlier**. Gates open at 7. We definitely need everyone there early so we can enter the costume contest and get an appropriate number of beverages in us before the race. Who is bringing what as far as food/grill/drinks? Usually we do breakfast and lunch. I'll bring the traditional vodka/red bull and donuts or something towards breakfast.

Packet pickup details:

Please have ONE team member pick up your packet this Wednesday, September 17th or Thursday, September 18th btwn 12pm and 8pm. Location is Blue Diamond Mx - also known as Blue Diamond Park off route 13 in New Castle. Address is 765 Hamburg Road New Castle, DE 19720.

Try to get there as early as possible, I think the costume contest start around 830. Half the point is the tailgate and everything beforehand.

Yeah, definitely bring a towel and change of clothes/shoes. I usually bring a wawa/acme/etc bag to put my dirty clothes in.
