We do? I never saw that anywhere
Lisa just grabbed ours and said she didn't need any waivers. I think it is handled when signing up by accepting the terms and conditions.

At least thats what I was told . . . maybe I understood wrong but I know we signed/scanned/sent ours
You might be thinking of the Polar Bear Plunge.
Cool so I did extra work for nothing
Its just the way my luck has been going.
I'll be using the signed waiver you sent me to sign up for a credit card in your name.

They always leave the worst obstacle off of the video. They usually throw in one really horrible one towards the middle that tires you out for the rest of the run, but I've said too much already...
I wonder if they'll go with the electric shock again this year, I still twitch from it now and then. Maybe they'll fly the sumo wrestlers back in. I can't believe they got away with calling that one obstacle, "Just bend over and smile". Sal said it wasn't even on the race course and the guy running it didn't have an official shirt on. Weird.

Ha ha ha
I've heard that they are having a "slap the bull on the butt" obstacle....
They did have some 6 x 6 beams that you had to walk across to get over the watery/muddy pit. The fall was about 8 foot and the beams got muddy so there was a slipping problem...espeically when some smart-ass (my son) began bouncing on the beam thinking it was funny.
He's not coming this year.
I was reading on FB yesterday where they were posting tips for virgins.

Thanks for telling me I wouldn't be able to move this morning!
Woody has posted his pics on FB
I'm feeling pretty good other than a few superficial cuts and scrapes.
Running it bare foot might not have been the best idea for Lisel and I. Feeling every step today. ![]()
Awesome time. It seriously get's more fun every year. You guys rock! ![]()

I can't Lisel enough for letting me borrow her shoes after mine fell apart! I don't know how you guys run barefoot all the time!!!!!
It's always good to let your hair down in an event like this. I wish my son would have run it with me this year but haing my wife along was a lot of fun too. She had a blast.
I don't think I"ll be drinking before the event anymore. Feeling a bit dehydrated today. Going to the gym tonight should be LOADS of fun.
You guys who tried to run it in open shoes were crazy, that was just begging for pebbles to get in there. Amateurs.
Jody - not sure if you stretched first but it definitely helps me. Keep moving today and pop an Aleve or 7. Sorry I'm not sorry to everyone we lied to and said there wasn't going to be any running.
It took us an 1:40 which is way longer than we've done it in the past. I was expecting more like an hour-ish.
Few scrapes and a nice bruise on the ass. Sal launched a hail mary pass with a corn cob (ok, so maybe I threw it at him first) and got me right on the tailbone. I'll post a pic later. ![]()
I hope everyone that came out for the first time had fun. I love that we had 20 people in our group and hopefully we continue to grow this.
Other then my whole shin being black/blue and bloody I feel great today. Our group finished in 1:05:54. Next year I think I may try to run it twice.
