87 yj questions about heater

    87 yj heater stoped running. I checked the fuse and that's fine. Is there anything else I should check before replacing the blower motor? I do get rain water leaks, would that have shorted something? It's there a switch I should check.? I can't hear the motor at all when I turn on the heater. It has never given me a problem before and it did at the perfect time. Just in time for fall

    Pull the heater control out and check the connections on the back, it's unlikely but they may have come off. You can also check the voltage and if you are getting power with the switch turned on, then it's probably your motor.
