Went to north Carolina and picked up my new Kaufman trailer Monday. 28 ft lowboy gooseneck. The team at Kaufman treated me great and delivered an outstanding product. Now I can have some real fun at the member ride this weekend.

Nice!
You had to go to NC to get a good deal on a trailer?

Kaufman was recommended to me by a few different people that currently own trailers from them. Once I gave them a call and spoke to the sales team I was impressed. Plus the quote they gave me was a grand less then anywhere local.

I'm curious how that 300 straight 6 Ford is going to like the mountains of PA.

Me too. But I will only be towing one. It's way more trailer then I need for my current truck, but I plan on keeping the trailer forever, not the truck. I towed both jeeps to smyrna and back on route one. It did well, held 70 mph the whole way. I also scaled the whole set up, and to my surprise I was even within gvw and axle ratings of my truck.
I'm thinking 12 valve swap in the old ford.
