We’ll be up Friday too. If we get there early enough, get some dinner?

Yeah dinner sounds fine. I’m bringing stuff to grill so I’m flexible either way.

Not looking good for me to make it this Saturday. I'm waiting for an axle shaft from Alloy USA/Omix-Ada. I doubt that it will get here in time

Trail report?
Trail report?
Forthcoming.
Broke.
Broke
Okay, so this prompts the writing of Part 1 of the trail report:
Not long after leaving the parking lot to start our day, we had headed directly to Trail 5, and exited our Jeeps (for a reason obviously not important enough to remember, because I don't remember) when I hear my name called out. To my delighted surprise is my friend Bill @trikpony . He was out on the trails (to all appearances) solo. I didn't ask why; I simply invited him to join us. He accepted the invite, and immediately proceeded to perform an impressive climb of a very steep rock face. He was circling back and I saw him coming down a hill at a crazy speed. That seemed unusual to me because I have wheeled with Bill quite a few times, and I know he is about the rock crawling, and not a speed demon. He had lost his brakes as a result of a broken front flex brake line, and was lucky not to have wrecked on the descent.
None of us could devise a trail repair of the line. We clamped the line with a vice grips and were able to bleed the brake system and get his pressure back. There existed the possibility of him being able to continue wheeling with the clamped line and 3 remaining brakes, but he chose to err on the side of caution and head out.
Okay, so this prompts the writing of Part 1 of the trail report:
* appendix to Trail Report part 1:
To those who don't already know, Bill is no longer wheeling the Pony.
and to Bill @trikpony, you owe Andy @TheDarkSide a Vice Grips.

Thanks for all the help, yes to the vice grips and brake fluid. Oh , and can I finally join DEJA?

Please do.
Did you finally join the cool kid club and get a Jeep?

Do you not pay attention?

I remembered all the way up until killing that brain cell Saturday night in Dewey. So close to being relevant knowledge.
