Was at home depot and saw these restorer wipes so I thought I'd try them on my ever whitening fenders and so far ( about an hour ) so good .

It will be interesting to see how long that lasts. I think the only fix is to paint them with a vinyl trim paint, like Bumper Black or the like

Yeah I know I figured I'd try it I'll let everyone know in a week or so just thought it was worth a shot .

Always good to try first. I also tried using a hair dryer once upon a time. It "worked" but didn't leave an even color and took a while. Actually didn't make it through an entire flare. If you decide to paint, wet sand with a 400 or 600 grit paper to take any oxidation and whatever off.

After I did it it honestly smells like back to black but like I said I'll give it a shot. I didn't mind the discoloration I've had more than one jeep that had it and it comes with the territory haha .

Try boiled linseed oil. It’s cheap, and lasts for months. I know it sounds crazy, but I applied it on my faded front bumper, and it made it look black again.

How's it looking after about 5 weeks?

Still looks better then it did. I'd take a picture but now it's converted in salt and road dirt .
