Looking for Best Trails for Beginner Off-Roading in Delaware ?

    Hey everyone,


    I am fairly new to off-roading and looking to explore some beginner--friendly trails around Delaware. I recently got my first Jeep and am excited to hit the trails.., but I want to start off with something manageable to build my skills.


    Can anyone recommend good spots in the area for a newbie: ?? I am looking for trails that offer a mix of scenic views and some mild challenges but nothing too extreme.


    Any tips on what to bring or watch out for as a beginner would also be appreciated...!

    the group runs trail rides at rausch creek offroad and aoaa in PA. They split the group so usually there is a green group for the less experienced. The facebook site gets more traffic if u want to check in there. There is no where local in DE to offroad.

    I know this is a bit late and I hope you have gotten out since this was posted. But I will add that the wife and I did a 101 class with Off Road Consulting. It was a lot of fun and Kyle is great. It was hard for us this year trying to meet up with the club to do one of the trail rides so we went this route.     Technically the only off roading in delaware would be drive on beaches, and that is to go out fishing. That said, beach clean up is this Saturday at Cape henlopen. See the event for details.

    These guys in Dover aren't open to the public all the time anymore but are doing an event in a couple weeks
