CJ shop near Wilmington

    Hi everyone,

    Can someone recommend a CJ shop in or close to New Castle County for basic mechanical repairs , etc. Trying to get an old 1982 CJ back on the road .. nothing fancy.

    There will be no vehicle specific shop. (most won't know the difference between a CJ and a Willys.

    - 258 I6

    - '93 Cherokee fuel injection and HO head,

    - bored 30 over

    - with 4x4 cam

    T18 tranny with granny low / Dana 18 t-case

    Dana 44 front and back from late '70s Wagoneer, both locked and loaded with 4.88 gears

    SOA on modified YJ springs with shackle reversa

    Fiberglass tub with 6 point cage mounted to the frame

    It has sat for years , so needs everything checked ..probably needs full tune up , brakes , new carb, and I remember the steering being pretty wonky last time I drove it… just looking for a shop that is known for working on old CJs or older Jeeps in general .. doesn’t have to be solely CJ specific , can someone steer me in the right direction? Thanks

    I use Hollyoak on Gov Prince rd for an older 450 work truck. They will work on older cars/trucks but not sure if they do carb work
