I just realized I forgot to mention my +1. Also my tent is pretty big so I'll get my own site. It's close enough to the group site to be social but won't jam up the site unnecessarily.

I asked twice already, what's the plan for food Saturday night? I don't want to bring burgers for Friday if that's what you're doing Saturday. I'm out of town all week and then headed right out on Friday. I'd really like to know this now please, thanks.
Burgers dogs and sausage

Anyone concerned about the weather for Saturday night? Calling for thunder storms and rain.

If a storm rolls through we will have a few rvs on site if it becomes a problem. Not going to leave the tent campers fending for themselves lol.

If it rains bad I'm gonna just pack up shop and go.
Fill this out ahead of time, has to be done every year

Good times were had by
allmost! Sucks to be those people who didn't heed the weather warnings.
For next year, can I suggest doing some kind of custom giveaway for all? Like in the past we did pint glasses which said member ride and the year on them, we did knives with the DEJA logo on the blade and then there were the (in)famous mugs from the Fishing not a Tournament. Considering we haven't spent anything on food for this event for the past 2 years and there is historical precedent, I'd think the budget would permit the club to pay for something like this.

This needs some more details. LOL.

Short version of the story, we all knew it was going to rain at some point on Saturday night. I get back to camp like 4ish and looked at the radar. 2 big red waves coming at us. I text everyone I can think of. Some people headed back. One particular group said the fateful words of "one more trail", breakage ensued and they got nailed in a bad storm with strong winds.
