thanks to all. Ive checked everything you guys said now we just have to wait for some rain to see if i got the problem fixed

This is a long shot and i know it might be impossible to determine without seeing the jeep but Im getting water coming from behind the dashboard. The more rain the more water. I've sealed along were the windshield and the hood meet and along the windshield gasket. The water is still flowing. Could it be coming through the hood vent? do i need a new windshield gasket? any ideas?

Will any after market fuel gauge work on my 87yj? is there anything special i should look for? the gauge cluster is to expensive and hard to find. the cluster is missing the gas gauge and I ran out of gas for the last time.
Any information is much apreciated

does the dome light fuse also run the pump?

how can i clean a cloged fuel line?

its my yj. Is there anything electrical that would affect it? i was told that the fuse for the dome lamp also ran the pump. i checked that and it was fine. is there anything else electrical that i should check?

will runing out of gas damage the fuel pump? i ran out and now it dosnte seem to be send fuel to my engine. it will start if i drop some gas in the carb but it doesnt stay on for long. only about two seconds.
