Hey guys I'm hoping someone can help me with a noise that's coming from Kelly's JK. We had the tires rotated and an alignment done and now we're getting a weird sensation when we make a right turn.
We grabbed a video and you can sort of see the steering wheel hang up when going back to straight there is also a clunk noise we have no idea what's causing this.

We thought about it but we're camping at Lums with the Dalphon's

So after a bunch of rushed reading online and a few calls to QT we ended up with a very nice and helpful customer service rep at QT that highly recommended the JKS Manufacturing J-Kontrol 3.5in Suspension System. We also picked up the Superchips 3571 Flashcal F5 Programmer to fix the shift points and speedo which will be nice.
We're very excited to get all of this installed!!
-
Unfortunately even though we ordered this on Sept 2nd we heard from QT today that the kit isn't expected until 11/19.
So it's back to the drawing board. If anyone has any suggestions please share!!

bonus: you get one of the jeep wood crates
Will be available on Facebook market place shortly! No room as we downsize!

We're excited! We ordered the Mopar lift, a JKS trackbar and Pro Comp A/T Sport Tires.
-
it was a good complete kit. I think the guy added the adjustable front tb which i would do if not included.
Do you have a recommended brand for that Adjustable Front Track Bar?
I think I'm going our Jeep into your schedule as my Mrs ( KellyF) wants an upgrade!
-
OK cool I was going to ask him to do ours as well so that's good to hear!!
-
Question for you guys...We are going to need to replace @'KellyF''s shocks on her '14 JK pretty soon. It's got the basic budget boost lift and we're talking about upgrading it to the Mopar 2" lift. Any thoughts on this kit?

Welcome!

I'm glad to hear they are deal'n! Although that starting price sounds a bit steep! When we bought our certified used 2014 almost 2 years ago it was less than that.
Hopefully you can make it out to one of the club events.
-
Welcome! The trail rides are a lot of fun although most of the club is in beach mode this time of year.
-
I just mounted ours and the gaps are there. The only option I've ever seen that looked half decent was to put a backer behind it but I didn't want to mess with it.
-
I can't speak to all of the differences. But I can say this... My wife has a 2014 JKU, and when we were in Sedona, AZ, a couple years ago, we rented a JL and wheeled it all day. She and I both agreed that we liked her JK better. Something about how we both fit into it was different. Sorry, I can't be more specific, but I can tell you I thanked God that evening that we both loved ours over me trying to figure out how to pay for a new one!

Seems to be a sealing issue because it fails when water gets in. Probably when going through deep water, not just wet weather

I may have gone through a deep enough puddle last time we were at AOAA. I just hope if it fails the dash light stays on.

YIKES!! Yes that will affect many of us including @KellyF's JK.
-
Any idea how much weight that would hold safely? Would be awesome for our ARB but that's a HEAVY fridge!
-
@whatevah did you ever sell your trailer? You might need it if you end up having to bug out!!
I wish I could work on projects. Between homeschooling two kids and money being scarce we're just hanging low.

I'd swing by Deltrans if it's not too late, I've been very happy with them and I know a bunch of others have used them as well.
My parents used Deltrans for a couple vehicles and had great experiences. Lucky for me I've never needed to use them.
