I need to purchase a spare tire/wheel. I believe that my Jeep has Mickey Thompson Classic II rims. I have been looking at them on the Quadratec website and they seem chrome but mine are more of an aluminum look. Is this just because they are old and lost some of the finish or did M/T offer non-chrome styles in the past?

I wanted to confirm this was the correct wheel that I need to match what I have.

That is how I calculate mine. If anyone is interested I have a spread sheet that I created that also calculates Cost/Mile and other cool figures. I created it when I was driving all over the state as a consultant. I wanted to make sure I wasn't loosing money through business expenses.

This Jeep has been owned by three different people before me. The second owner was the one that did the lift and most of the upgrades. One of the upgrades was a rear disc conversation. When he did that he did NOT put on the e-brake kit! My drive way is a little steep so I decided that I didn't want to risk the Jeep breaking loose. Hence the chocks... I spoke with my mechanic and he said that to get the e-brake installed it would run between $600-$1,000.

Yea I love it! Doesn't really match the ARB on the front but that is OK cause I got the bumper so cheap.

Well I finally was able to get my Quadratec Tent Sale bumper installed. It was pretty easy! We had to go to Lowes to get some Grade 8 bolts with lock washers. It was harder to get the factory bumper and hidden hitch off then to get the new one on. Here are some pics.

These pics look great but Snapfish sucks! I can't get through more then a few and the slideshow crashes my IE window. I'll try it from the mac tonight.

I know there are a few members here that have them and like them. BUT I had an '88 with the 4cyl. and it could barely get out of it's own way. My Jeep now has the 4.0L and I wasn't going to buy another 4cyl. But that is just my opinion.

I just went to the DMV this morning, I got raped with no lube. To get my Jeep retitled and I changed the license plate plus taxes cost me $175.

A new license plate costs $15 plus a new Title costs $25.00 without a lien. Not sure if it would cost another $30 on top of that.

These are great! MORE... MORE...

I wish I could have gone! I might be able to make the one in Nov.
