got it. Thanks again. I did the job and it was much easier than I thought it would be. Thanks again.

oh and one more question please. Is it easier to drain the coolant in order to lower the level or to pinch the coolant line? I've seen it done both ways in the write ups but was hoping to get a firsthand account. Many thanks!

I appreciate the response. Any suggestion on the replacement part? I believe that the doorman part is better than the factory (or the Chinese) one on ebay.

Hope everyone is doing great.
I just wanted to reach out and see if anyone has any tips for replacing the dreaded leaking oil cooler on a 3.6 Pentastar. Mine has been leaking for a bit and I planning to do the fix one of these days. I know it's a bit involved but seems better that a $1000 - $1500 shop bill. Lots of vids on YT about it but I figured I'd ask before I tear into this motor. Just thought I'd ask. Thanks, GAP

Looks like a fantastic trip! I was last out there about a year ago and really miss it. Engineer and Yankee boy were my favorite but all are beautiful. You got awesome pics! Thanks for posting this and congrats of a great trip, G

Rear seat is gone. And a correction on the bumper. It's a rear TJ bumper, not a front. still available. thanks, G

I'm cleaning out some stuff and have a couple TJ related things that are avail for free. PM me know if anyone is interested. Thanks, G
-2003 factory rear seat with all brackets. Charcoal color, in good shape, would just need to be cleaned up a bit.
- TJ factory front bumper. Black in color, it has the replacement rubber ends that make it look better.I will add more stuff when I have a chance.

Welcome aboard. Nice looking rig!

The ARB/Dometic fridges are also back heavy because that's where the compressor is so be mindful of the front tipping down when pulled out. I use the Dometic straps to strap mine to the slide and then I have the slide base ratchet strapped into the floor hooks. It's tight if you try to slide it around but the back still pops up an inch or so when fully extended.

How are you going to power it? Hint: join the
darksolar side with usIf I do run power to it, it would be straight from the battery and connect with one of these. I don't like the standard 12v cigarette plugs. Your solar idea is the best one, but I have to make the commitment and that can be a challenge for me.
The slides are rated at either 130 or 150 lbs. I have to recheck the specs. I would only buy a larger fridge for another cross country trip. I usually prefer a roto cooler because I like simple stuff and on most of my trips I only go 2 nights / 3 days before I need gas (and ice) anyway. I do already have a small Engel 15L fridge that is very handy but doesn't hold alot.
