I was thinking about going to 33X10.50 BFG's instead of my current 31's, I have and 03 with and auto and 3.73 gears. I was just wondering if anyone has run this set up and how it ran. is the overdrive even useable or not.

I really appreciate the info, I'll see if I can order one from jeep. thanks again

I checked with the service dept at NJE and they said that since the jeep is 1 month out of warranty they would not cover it, and that the fan speed switch can only be changed by replacing the entire HVAC control head ($115). I will try to call chrysler tomorrow, but does anyone know if there is another way to replace the switch or whatever to fix what is wrong?

ok, I thought that I'd heard that this was a common problem. the jeep is only out of warranty by a month so maybe they will fix it for free, if not at least I can order a new one. thanks for the info.

has anyone had their heater/ac fan speed switch go bad? mine on my 03 only works on the highest speed and of course the jeep is 1 month out of warranty. if anyone knows of a fix before I go and buy a new switch from the dealership I'd appreciate the info. thanks.

well then only thing on the jeep that doesn't have an aftermarket skid finally got dented, so its time to put on something better, anyone have any opinions? i like the skid row stuff (like my engine skid) but I don't want to put on a body lift, any opinions or good or bad experiences? also anyone who has removed the factory skid, does the tank stay in place with its own straps or is it only held in place by the skid plate? thanks George.

am trying to make this one, should know for sure soon. GAP

Chris, I'm planning to meet you at Rt 41 and Newark Rd, @0600 sent you a PM.

thanks, it sounds like the skid row plate is the one to have.

I'm about toorder an engine skid plate and was wondering if the extra $100 is worth it for the skid row vs. the warn plate. any opinions would be helpful. thenks GAP

Chris, thanks for the info I'll try that but I was also wondering if lowering the t-case is going to cause any problems with the shift linkage, both t-case and trans? did you have any problems? thanks George

I just installed some coil spring spacers, 1 3/4 ", because onlywanted a small lift on my 03 wrangler withan automatic. I have a small vibration when I start from a stop but its not really noticable whil driving. I'm still running 30"BFG's. I was wondering if anyone had installed a transfer case drop kit on a wrangler with an automatic. I'm sure that it would not take much to eliminate the vibration (maybe 1/4 - 1/2 inch). I thought about a SYE but am trying not to spend all that money. but I did have a 89 wrangler for 10 years, 1.5 inch lift and 31's and did break a slip yoke on the beach one time so I know that it happens. any opinions or info would be appreciated. thanks George.
