Sorry, long gone. Had 2, both sold years ago. They were hard to come by then, must be harder now.

I might know of a YJ tub, rust free, black, been off the road for probably 18 years, with hard top and doors to keep the weather out. I will reach out to the owner and see if he want to part the Jeep out, that was the plan 18 years ago. It's an 87 fwiw.

Can't picture what it looks like but could you make a new bracket(or cut it off of old frame) and bolt it to the new bracket, like a drop bracket kinda thing.

I'm trying to hold out for a steel tub. I'm leaving the Qtec tub on backorder because it was a good price for a steel tub, still keeping an eye out for a good CJ or YJ tub.
[/quote]What's the price for good used Yj tubs these days? Used to be anywhere from $500-$1000.

I picked up a 2006 LJ in December. Sold my 1986 CJ7 2 weeks ago that LJ replaced. Still have a CJ8, never forsee myself without a CJ8. My brother picked up a 2004 LJ 2 weeks ago.

Check car-parts.com
Salvage yard data base, enter your zip code and then it asks make, model, parts, etc.

My 86 CJ7 got a pink slip. An '06 LJ is replacing it as a spare vehicle/fun driver. Will miss driving and shifting the CJ but one of these days I will driving my CJ8 AND my LJ.
The ride of the CJ7 really beats my wife up and lack of power brakes, lousy heating system, no A/C it just isn't ideal as a 3rd vehicle for her if she needs it.Sent from my SM-A516V using Tapatalk

You could use antiseize instead of stainless bolts. It is hard to find graded stainless locally

Check advance auto. Order online and they usually have 15-20% off online code to use, pick up in store then.

Where are the parts located and what is the date code on the 35" tire? Thanks

Local dealer has 2 of them. Way smaller than I expected and these where not the off road looking ones I have seen on TV. First impression of the 2 2 I saw was ho hum...yawn.....

What shop did you go to? Sounds like one to never go to for several reasons.

I'll get pictures next week. I poured some gas in the carb and it did run, obviously not long but it ran so it has spark and compression and all that good stuff an engine needs!
