Hey John - which nights is it for? Friday and Saturday nights, or Saturday and Sunday nights? I sent you a message about 45 minutes ago asking for clarification.
If it's for Friday and Saturday, we might be interested and maybe we could share with Joe?

We have two Jeeps. The older one is called "The TJ" and the newer one is called "The JKU" I know...I'm a real wordsmith
...or sometimes we get creative and go with "The blue Jeep" or "The red Jeep."

Ordered mine! I got an XL, any idea if they run bigger or smaller?
Steve - I have a tailgate hoodie (it's one of my favorites) and it seems to be sized correctly.

I was officially introduced to the club at 7pm on Thursday, February 6, 2003 at a National Jeep Meet and Greet at Hooters. Paul handed me a DeJa business card and the rest is history.

Closer to the liquor store would be good. They typically sell really good creamers by Bailey's.You do realize the Bailey's creamer is sold in all grocery stores, right? It's the actually Bailey's that you could get at a liquor store and use as creamer. Not that I've done that or anything...

Since I unfortunately didn't score tickets, I'll be happy to stay north and avoid the chaos down there.
You do realize Firefly tickets are still on sale, right?

First hand experience - an XJ is the perfect first vehicle. When I turned 16, I was fortunate to be given an 87 XJ to drive. It was reliable, slow, inexpensive and capable when the weather turned bad. I wasn't thrilled with it at first, but in time I grew to absolutely LOVE it. It still holds a very special place in my heart.
Sure, it wasn't a Wrangler (and what kid wouldn't want one) but I was a responsible kid and understood how fortunate I was just to have a vehicle.

There are a few built jeeps that I would buy and this is one of them.
Stop tempting me Chris.Would you prefer a blue 2001 TJ instead? Less miles

Just curious if anyone is thinking about doing this run/walk again this year? It's on May 19th (day after the Spring Fling) in Rehoboth Beach at the outlets and benefits the Delaware Breast Cancer Coalition. Chris and I are already registered again to participate in memory of Patti and it would be great to have some others join us!
Information and registration here

Folks who have been around here awhile will remember Tom's old Jeep. I ran across it for sale on Craigslist:

Deja windshield sticker and all! -

It was easy...though when they set the Jeep alarm off, I knew it was time to roll. ;DWe all got kicked out of the house yesterday too due to a baby shower (NOT OURS). By the way, for the northerners, the Delaware Children's museum in Wilmington is pretty cool.
I particularly enjoyed the "No Whining" button. -
Seems like a good pic for the home page banner.
James took the pictures, I just put them together and then played around a little bit with all the settings to make it come to life.
Jerry, what are the specs on banner photos? I can crop/resize a litte more tomorrow. -
Was the Chief package just a trim package or was there more of a performance package as well?I know it has a tow package and a D44 in the rear. I believe it was considered the sporty "workhorse" model.
That's great! I can remember Icky talking about the Chief years ago!The Chief is my original Jeep LOVE! My dad bought it in '92 and drove it until '98 when I turned 16 and took it over for a couple of years. It wasn't my dream vehicle at first, but I grew to love it more than anything! When I went to college, I handed the keys back over to my dad and got my TJ during my sophomore year. He's driven The Chief ever since. It wasn't until recently that he started looking around for something a little newer and we surprised him with a 2001 XJ. Now The Chief is all ours! ;D

Which pavilion does the club have reserved for the Fling?
