The biggest problem I ran into using tarps were the places where the water ( And snow ) would collect and start pulling the tarp in. A thin piece of plywood placed under the tarp at the low spots worked well....Just round the corners so it won't chaff the tarp.
Don't wrap it up completely or you will have a condensation problem, leave the very bottom open for air circulation.
Buy plenty of bungee cords.
I wonder about the heat shrink wrap they use on boat storage?"Edit" Just looked, most rolls are way to big and run $150 and up. Maybe call some some boat storage places and see what they would charge? -

For some things like seatbelts, personally I wouldn't trust a JY part and would go brand new. The reason most vehicles are in the JY is due to accidents which would compromise the seatbelt... if they were wearing one. I've seen more than I ever wanted of blood on the inside of junked vehicles b/c people don't wear them....From what I understand. If a vehicle has been in an accident over a certain mph and the seat belts were in use, you are required to replace them with new.

Track bar is in and my Tie Rod is bent back to where it originally was (about 2in forward). My jeep is ready for the trails againDoes it steer both left and right? ;D

Looks like their calling for thunderstorms Sat and 80% chance of rain......To far out to know for sure.

Your looking at about $50 extra per month on a 4 year note. Plus the extra price on fuel and maint....I think it's a break even at best compared to gas money wise.
Now off road....Worth it. As long as they gear it right and make the drivetrain strong enough to live behind that torque. -
Kinda figured as much...But after reading whats on the internet on this, one of two things will happen.....My Jeep will explode and kill a bus load of nuns driving by....Or Don't worry about it, nothing bad will happen.

What should I disconnect besides the battery on a 2015 JK before welding?
Might try and get around to making some lower control arm bracket skids this weekend and don't want to fry anything.

Everyone can rest easy........I fixed my seat.
Good to see everyone made it home. Defiantly a good day out there yesterday, thanks to everyone for getting me out of the couple tough spots.
The skids took a beating for sure, need to look and see where I need to add more. -
Reminder for anybody going up tomorrow and wants to convoy, I'll be at the Avondale Wawa at 6am. CB on channel 16.
I'll be there.
