I too hit a deer with my old YJ years ago...wrinkled the passenger fender, ripped off the antenna, and bashed up the half-door. Then it run off!

Had a ‘94 wrangler- love the square headlight models!

Zippers on my 2012 soft top rear window- defunct! So what to do? Nothing! Leave it zipped at the top so you can roll it up like on my old YJ, and leaving it unzipped left and right. Believe it or not, it doesn’t leak, makes no difference that it’s left unzipped.

Concrete, emergency as in; needing a helicopter, not breaking an axle- but I know what you mean
I think Tugboat is saying a bunch of guys using a ham repeater got busted by the FCC.

Didn’t mean to throw a wet blanket on the subject! Ham radio is cool hobby just like jeepin! But you have the FCC involved, just like you have DELDOT. Doesn’t mean you are criminal if you are a rebel but I’ve managed to stay out of jail in my 66 years here in the good ‘ol USA!
-
Stafford, if you are not a ‘ham’, the use of a ham repeater is only legal if there is an emergency; then it is perfectly ok. The repeaters are owned by individuals and clubs like Delaware JA.

I’ll will say, that motor seems happiest around 2000, which means 4th and 5th gear most of the time down here.....

I can tell you 3.21’s are no fun even with stock 32” tires. But you learn to live with it; just don’t expect to burn rubber, as the 3.6 doesn’t have ANY low RPM torque. But redline is 6400 or so, which means top speed is like 320 MPH or something I have 6 speed manual.

This is how compost is made- just add a little mousture...

Not sure putting a hole in the roll bar would be a "good thing". Could you imagine how hot that would get?

very hot! And vibration from the motor might be a problem. But I’d like to see the guy’s reaction at the DMV!

wonder how it would sound if you run your exhaust thru that roll bar exiting out top rear....
-
Your on a roll!

Yes, it is; I just hate seeing the wrangler ‘jeep’ growing up into a truck.

I guess my contention is, what league IS the Gladiator in? It certainly isn’t in the MJ/CJ/YJ league. But, that’s ok; it’s all good. Mfg’s Have always made cars ‘bigger better longer fancier’ otherwise we might not buy the ‘new’ model.

Yeah...if I were in the market for a 4-door mid size pickup, it would be the Canyon or Colorado for $12,000.00 less....
-
Whateveh confirms my take on the 4door JT; Competing with existing trucks that an MB CJ YJ were never designed for; so why not a Peterbuilt tractor version? Out of character, is why...the Jk is too big- My old underpowered YJ was more fun to drive....
-
Yeah...whateveh....just wished they would have saved the 4-door PU for another model- call it the STRANGLER or something....I would like to see a 2800 to3200 lb. reg cab wrangler! Oh well ... _._

Yup, had that ‘problem’. Thought the hill assist was acting up. Turned out front calipers sticking. New calipers/pads and rear pads replaced, all is good! Mine is 2012 manual 6 speed.
-
Mine was also a ‘94- bought it used with 60+K on it, 248K traded for service on my current ‘12. Went thru a lot of crap with that thing! From ‘the canal’ to buried in quicksand- all good!

My 4 cyl YJ didn’t have enough power to break anything........
