Starting the TJ this morning and I was met by no crank, very dim dashboard lights and an odd buzzing sound from behind the dashboard. Just replaced the starter a few days ago and it's been running fine. Battery was recently checked (to make sure it wasn't contributing to previous starting issues) and the dim lights and buzzing are something I've not had happen before. Anyone have any ideas?
Electrical issue?

corrosion at the battery terminals or a bad battery. Because it was recently checked doesnt mean its not bad now.

Thanks. Battery is fine and I just cleaned up the terminals last week as that is a recurring issue for me. I'm thinking it might be some odd short behind the dashboard. I tried starting it yesterday and hit the headlight swith just to make sure I hadn't left them on. Once I hit the lights all the electronics suddenly came on and it fired right up.

Sounds like a short somewhere between the power wire from the battery and the headlight switch. Since the ignition feed also comes from that power line, I'm going to guess the problem is in the relay bank under the hood?

Very possible. I'm trying to get it through to the weekend so I can take a good look at everything.
Thanks!

I wouldn't rule out that new started is bad. And maybe check that the ground cable is grounded properly to the frame.
