YJ lift for 31's

how much lift will i need on a YJ to clear 31x10.50's i am looking at the black diamond 1.5 lift. will i need 1 inch shackles too??

uses...mainly driving around...but would like to hit some stock level trails if wanted

I was running 30x9.50's on my YJ's stock springs, you should be fine with just the 1.5" lift.

if donnie can do it....so can i :):)

Almost forgot, If your lift springs are double military wrap you'll need boomerang shackles in the rear so the springs don't hit the frame.

I ran 31's with a 1in. Body lift when I first got the jeep. Never had a problem other than the tire rubbing the springs in a tight turn. Fixed that by turning out the stop on the knuckle.
