hydraulic clutch

    I'm working on my 89 wrangler that has been sitting since '04. Got it running, but the clutch pedal goes to the floor too easy and returns ok, but won't go into gear. How do I troubleshoot the hydraulic clutch? There is fluid in the reservoir. Pedal doesn't feel spongy like there is air in the system.

    Your s has and internal slave, but you can bleed the system by the bell housing. If the internal slave failed, many will tell you to change it / convert to an external slave. Although its not a bad mod, its really not needed, the internal slaves have been improved and should last quite some time.
