not starting

yeah sorry i havent messaged back ive been busy. um everything is good on it except im havig trouble getting into second ive checked the linkage and i cut the metal so it wasnt in the way i have a 1.25 body lift. i can get into all gears except 2nd. i can shift into 2nd when sitting still not running. so as of now i get going into 1st and go strate to 3rd
