Hello all;
I'm SERIOUSLY considering buying a 2017 Jeep Patriot Sport 4x4 as a daily drive. Besides the lack of fuel economy...is/are there other mechanical downsides I may be unfamiliar with? Make sense???

Wife has a 14 and I worked at Newark keep for a few years as a service advisor.
Throttle body will need replaced at 60k. Not hard to swap out
Control arms will go before 100k.
the HVAC actuators are suspect.

Other than that they are pretty solid little suvs
