Go buy a gallon of OD Green from Kayfield up here for $50, a box of 3M red scuff pads, six rolls of tape, and have fun.

I've been watching Commander's for some time now. We've fixed dozens of them here at work. When I can sneak a test drive I can also say it's only an updated Cherokee. High ceilings for you taller folks, the six banger has pep but nothing like the Hemi. The 4.7 gets one mpg more then the Hemi so why not just choose the Hemi? The Limited model has a nifty t-case with limited slip diff's front and rear. A little more ground clearance and I would have purchased one already. There's a guy on expedition portal and the same guy has a thread on pirate on his Commander. p.s- they have dropped in price substantially recently. Hemi Limited's are around 20k now with a couple thou on them...

My Cherokee and Grand Cherokee would through the TPS code on a regular basis. Getting it wet down at the farm I suppose. Go to Pepboys and get one, include the lifetime warranty on it for an extra bucks and they'll cover it everytime it goes bad.

Further proof of what a more aggressive tire will get you.

On their shop site, EVERYTHING is only mall crawling capable. Stock(ish) drivetrain, big wheels, and lots o' bling. Chrome don't get you home people!

I'm taking my truck and trailer with Creepers in March. Trying to grab some other Buddies in the meantime with our trailers.

Get your money back and buy the TnT bar.

I put them in my Cherokee. Not notice because I haven't wheeled it. They were under a $100. They're Superior.

I can do them here at work. I'll charge a 30 pack or pint of JD though...

From the pictures he posted before and showing from location, I suspect off Rt. 9. Back at the "Dustbowl" where I used to ride ATV's when I was a kid...
-
Over off Rt. 9 are we?

They close at 3 so you better get moving. I'd love to go. I'll be up there most of the day tomorrow though...

I have the 8'' on my Cherokee and it's still a hair over eight in the front and almost ten inches in the rear. It won't settle. I've put over 30k on it and the guy who had it before me put almost 5k on it.

This is going to be similar to Joo's question about running 35's with a Dana35. Damned if you do, damned if you don't. If you can afford it, go longarm. Each person on here will have a different opinion and "when's the right time to go long arm". This goes back to the basics...even for 90% street driven, it really is a world of a difference when you compare the two.

Ha, I have an empty 8.8 rear here out of a Ranger for free...
