so I pulled a total 360 yesterday... lol. went from KM2's to MTR's w/kevlar... I should have them in my garage by tonight.
I went with 42's, I am just gonna cut the front and back off the jeep, who needs sheetmetal!
not sure, but do the RE bushings call for larger bolts... my currie control arms did.
seems like that would be a likely culprit.
I ordered from JT's in the past, got a spool for the CJ and some other odds and ends, they have an ebay store also, prices are average, and they seem like a good group of guys.
That ain't nothin'.
This was temporary too.
Nice... it is amazing how a set of wheels and tires can set a Jeep off, I don't feel as bad now. thanks
Made my jeep look really silly! not picking on people w/ 30" tires, but it just don't look right on my Jeep.
only temporary...
A free t-shirt and a good shot at a $100 Poison Spyder gift certificate! It's a JEEP show not a show and shine! Cleaner is not always better!
that is true, but it is due for a good wash and wax...
can't argue with that
I registered to show!!! ha... maybe just to get a better parking spot and a free t-shirt ;D
(hope my tires get here in time... otherwise I'll be rollin 30's)
I think I might go to this, along with Dan74, not sure about showing the jeep, I still haven't washed it since GWNF... but if my tires come in and I get it cleaned up, then I might.
orders have been placed...
2 weeks backorder on the BFGs, but everything else is gonna ship.
no DEJA discount on tires, but there was a $50 off deal, and they cut shipping in half, also did a 5% military discount, not bad for a set of 35's (from 4wd.com)
10% off the quadratec stuff plus they knocked shipping in half, pretty good deal all around.
losing the old set today, so I will be sitting on Jack-stands until I get some temps then I'll be waiting on the new rubber.
I need to go back to work, so I can stop spending $$$$
i like the rims what are they?
I'm not telling!!! it's bad enough that I see a 100 yellow TJs on the road everyday, I'm not giving up my wheels also
J/K
they are the Black Rock Lobo's new design, got em from Quadratec, too many soft 8's on the road, I wanted something different!
JIC you'all wanted to know
these...
and these...
in 35" flavor!
also gonna get some of these...
ordering new wheels and tires...
I use Google Chrome... it seems to load the quickest, and it works for 99% of the sites I visit.
I had the wet okole covers in the CJ (not the knock offs) and for the $ they were great.
not sure if they were 100% waterproof, but they were 100% water resistant...
So, if you plan to leave the jeep outside with no top in the rain, get some trash bags, but if you are looking for a quality cover, that will keep your seats dry in a spring shower or at the beach with wet trunks, I'd say that the wet okole are the best bet.
Ohio plates... the good morning state
the pic shows how high it sits... it just wont let the top go down all the way
I can't seem to find a pic of mine but I had it mounted to the top of an "insta-trunk". I used thick bolts and it sat behind the roll bar. There was a very small chance that it was going to come loose. I also liked that because it was protected from the weather.
that is how i mount mine... only drawback is it wont let the top come all theway down, i usually only put it on for offroad trips, so it isnt a bad deal
