The jeep I just bought has a spice interior and it came with half doors that have the grey panels. Panels are in good shape, no damage or scuffs. Looking to trade straight up.

Thanks for the info. Just thought someone might have some parts laying around before I bit the bullet on ebay. I guess I should go with a new one since they can break if removed improperly.

I just bolted on a 4.0L throttle body on my 93 YJ 2.5L and now it instantly redlines on startup. It ran fine with the old throttle body. I switched out both of the sensors that worked fine on the old TB and it still revved high. I think the new TB I got was from a 92 or 93 Cherokee. I cleaned it out and bolted it up and no go. Thoughts and suggestions?

I had been looking for a gas tank skid plate for my 93YJ with the 20 gallon tank and it came down to the Warn or Kilby. I called up Quadratec and apparently they don't make the kilby anymore. So, I was going to go with the warn, but it said it only fit the 15 gallon tank. I heard from someone that it would also fit the 20 gallon tank, so I went ahead and ordered it anyway and it actually fit without any issues. I wanted to pass along the info if anyone else was in the same boat.

I just bought a Yj with a spring over lift, and I wouldn't do anything smaller than 33s with the spring over or it won't look right and it will be very unstable sitting that high without the wider tires. I have a YJ that I am selling, had a 1.25" body lift and 1.25" lift shackles on it that I'd be willing to sell separately if interested. They helped fit my 31's very nicely.

I am curious about swapping a 95 cherokee engine with the 4.0L and 5 speed trans into my 1989 4 cyl YJ. I didn't know if anyone has any input on doing something like this... motor mounts, wiring, transmissions, etc. Thanks.

Me and my buddies are heading up to Rausch Creek this weekend if anyone is interested in tagging along. We are doing greens and blues. Plan is to drive up either Friday or Saturday morning and camp out Saturday night. Departing from Oxford, PA area. -Bryan

The same thing happened to me over the weekend while headed up to Rausch Creek in my 89 2.5L YJ. Drove about 35 minutes, stopped at wawa, came back out and nothing. We tried all kinds of stuff then it magically started about 25 minutes later. Can anyone suggest buying a new coil at Autozone, or finding a gm hei? I am unfamiliar with the gm hei, what vehicle and year range would that come from in a salvage yard? Will this work with the 2.5L or were you just talking about the 6 cyl model?

    Hello all,

I've been into jeeps for years and have half-built my 79 with a 304, never wheeled it- it just sat while I was away at PSU in college, but finally decided to do a frame up build on an 83 with the 258. The body was completely shot and I just got a nice yj tub last week. Took the tub off over the weekend. Now I am down to the frame. Looking for suggestions while I have everything apart. Chassis is stock. My buddy is trying to talk me into a Ford explorer rear with 4.10 gears. Am also thinking POR-15 for the frame. Has anyone close to Newark ever done a yj tub swap for a cj? I have read some articles on it, but frame needs much work first. Rear crossmember is shot. I heard you can weld in a yj crossmember to make the body line up better. That brings me to needing the rear end of a yj frame and needing to find a decent welder, if anyone knows a good place to take it or could pay to do it. I appreciate any input, I want to do it right the first time! I should say I don't have a ton of money to spend, but maybe 500-800 in upgrades possibly.
