Guys, anybody down this way have a set of tires I could use for an hour or so on Monday?......The ol' yj passed everything but tire clearance(more than 2 inches beyond the flares). Im running 35x12.50 so I'd need something 10.50 or narrower, don't care how tall. I used a set of 30x9.50 last time.......

I'm tempted to dust the cobwebs off my junk and cruise up for this one.......I think I remember how to get there ;D

How many people in this thread say do not buy neoprene who HAVE used Wet Okole covers? I simply ask because I have ran the same set in my Jeep since I have bought it... I run all black covers, have no fade, and for 2 years my Jeep has not had a top on it...I will almost swear by them, I love them!
Me. I hated the damn things for the same reasons Wolverine stated.

It was good seeing some old faces and catching up with everyone. On a side note.....did anyone find a blue "shimano" tackle bag in their travels off the beach? I either pulled off without it or it fell off my rack somewhere along the way.

4 banger is great on the trail, but dont plan on doing much over 60 mph on the hwy, especially with big tiresShoot, I can hit 70 with a good tailwind!! ;D

Are you're looking for something in Sussex county? Bill Cannons Garage in Selbyville did my gears back in '02 and they're still going strong today.

I usually access the beach just south of one of the towers that you can go into and the camp ground. There are 2 air stations and another once you turn into the road to the beach. When I come out a rock jetty is to the right, I usually go over there
[/quote]That would be Navy Crossing.

As for the vacuum hose, where would I look for that? You'll need to get behind the heater control panel to check the switch. The main vac line comes off the back of the manifold and goes through the firewall.

Sounds like you have a control cable that's either broken or out of adjustment. Is the lever hard to move or really easy? There is also a vacuum switch behind the heater control. Take a look and make sure all your lines are hooked up.

So I am really considering getting the surf tag but I have a few questions. I went to the DNREC website and read all the rules but what I am wondering is how close do they follow them? The whole no swimming thing seems REALLY unrealistic. How the hell can anyone sit on the beach all day and not take a dip now and then to cool off? If my kids want to play in the surf is that cool? I'm guessing if you park next to some guy that is hard core fishing it would piss him off, but if it's a bunch of families hanging out will you get hassled. I'm used to OBX so all the "rules" are very perplexing. Please clue me in.Don't you remember anything from the old Delaware Seashore days??

Well, I'm currently sitting my best feature on stock seats. If I go with something aftermarket later on down the road...Has anybody bought one of these doohickey's and what size are you sporting?
I have the 10" between stock seats in my 95.

Yep. I don't think I ever made it to the parts store after I swapped the flashers around. ;D Still going strong 5 yrs later!

Yeah, exactly what he said. A cheapo hacksaw will do the job nicely.
