One web site I looked at said they were 4x6
another said they are 5.25Looks like a pain to swap out look at this site
Joe, I replaced mine years ago with some pioneer 4x6's. I didn't tear apart my dash like that either. You can get to them. It's cramped, but you can get to them. You just need to reach up behind the speaker and back off a couple of nuts, the studs stay in place if I remember right. Removing the ebrake makes it easier to get the drivers side. Let me know when you decide to do it. I'll give ya a hand.

I thought you liked the white over lay on the guages.Yeah, I did. No problems or anything just time for a little change of pace.

Go for it.......I just went retro too; I removed the white faced gauges I installed several years ago.
-
Just bungee cord it up to the frame when you're on the trail; that always worked for me.

Best on-road jack is a 12 ton hydraulic jack. It is small, more than tall enough and is not an accident waiting to happen.
Cool. I didn't think one of those. I always thought they wouldn't provide enough lift.

If I'm not on a trail ride, I don't want the Hi-Lift with me
my 2¢...
DrJI used to subscribe to that theory until one day I was thinking about what I would do if I had to change a flat tire somewhere. I agree, the best place for it is behind the backseat.......fits like a glove.

Nice jeep Joe. I'm sure it'll be a beast by the time you're finished with it.

how hard is the exhaust manifold gasket to replace?? any tips/pointer/tricks
95 YJ 4banger
It's a fairly painless process. Hardest part I thought was removing all the intake crap just to access the exhaust manifold. You will be amazed when you see what the stock gasket looks like compared to the aftermarket one. You should see a marked improvement in the noise department.

well u could buy the kit with a compressor from arb
or use a co2 tank
or if u use a york oba then u just need to regulate the feed hose to 90 psi i thinkno matter which oba u use
u still need to g=regulate the line feed to the arb
hthYep. The ARB needs 80-105psi to operate. All you need to do is put a regulator on the air line just before ARB solenoids.
