I had Bestop's black denim canvas-style in my old YJ and LOVED them. They fit tight, looked good, and didn't suck up moisture.

    I have these now.

I had neoprene covers several years ago. I liked the look better than I liked the function. I use the seat to help me "slide" in and out of the jeep and the neoprene made that very hard to do. Also, if it rained or there was a heavy dew in the morning, the neoprene sucked it up whereas with good ol' vinyl just wipe 'em off and go. I sold them on ebay for more than I paid. :innocent:

I think Chuck may be offering to let you borrow them, but I'll let him clear that up.

Yeah, I'll need them again in two years!! Let me know if you want to borrow them. :peace:

I went through Georgetown about a month ago. They didn't say a word about the windshield banner. Any lights mounted higher than your headlights will need to be covered.(past experience) I have 2 extra KC (6" round) covers if you need them.

You should get a cover for that thing. Mine still looks almost new and it's been on since '99.

what would i find a good one on

Check ebay. I've seen used ones go for 25-50 bucks. Mine came from a 79 mercedes. If you haven't yet, definately check out kilby's on board air site.... LOTS of info. :peace:

This storm is *supposed* to follow a more southern track. Depending on how close it moves up to Delmarva will dictate how much precipitation will fall. Most of the weather models have the bulk of the moisture spreading over Kent and Sussex. We'll see I guess. :snow_laugh:

Well, you have 3.73 gears right now. I ran 33's for 3 years before I re-geared to 4.56. With the 33's the 4.56's were darn near perfect. It's still not bad with 35's.

...WINTER STORM WATCH IN EFFECT FROM MONDAY AFTERNOON THROUGH TUESDAY MORNING...

THE LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM THAT WAS RESPONSIBLE FOR THE WINTRY PRECIPITATION EARLY ON SUNDAY MORNING WAS HEADING WELL OFF THE NEW JERSEY COAST. COLDER AIR WAS WRAPPING AROUND THIS LOW AND WAS HELPING TO PUSH A COLD FRONT SOUTH ACROSS THE SOUTHERN MID- ATLANTIC REGION. THIS FRONT IS EXPECTED TO BECOME STATIONARY TONIGHT TO OUR SOUTH KEEPING US ENTRENCHED IN THE COLDER AIR AND PRIMING OUR REGION FOR A POTENTIAL WINTER STORM.

LOW PRESSURE IS EXPECTED TO FORM OVER GEORGIA ON MONDAY MORNING, RIDE NORTHEAST ALONG THE STATIONARY FRONT, AND EXIT OFF THE MID-ATLANTIC COAST ON MONDAY NIGHT. PRECIPITATION IN THE FORM OF SNOW IS EXPECTED TO MOVE INTO THE REGION ON MONDAY AFTERNOON AND PERSIST THROUGH MONDAY NIGHT. THE EXCEPTION WOULD BE ALONG THE SOUTHERN NEW JERSEY AND DELAWARE COASTS WHERE THE SNOW COULD MIX WITH SLEET AT TIMES.

FORECASTING TOOLS CONTINUE TO SHOW DIFFERENCES WITH THE DEVELOPING STORMS EVOLUTION AND ALSO WHERE IT ULTIMATELY EXITS OFF THE MID-ATLANTIC COAST. THESE ARE IMPORTANT FACTORS WHEN TRYING TO FORECAST SNOWFALL TOTALS. AN EXIT FURTHER TO THE SOUTH OFF THE MID-ATLANTIC COAST COULD PROVIDE US WITH LESS SNOW WHILE A JOG TO THE NORTH COULD MEAN MORE.

A WINTER STORM WATCH IS ISSUED WHEN THERE IS THE POTENTIAL OF FOUR OR MORE INCHES OF SNOW IN THE 24 TO 48 HOUR TIME FRAME. WITH THIS IN MIND, THE MOST RECENT DATA SUGGESTS THAT AN ACCUMULATION OF 5 TO 8 INCHES OF SNOW ARE POSSIBLE BY TUESDAY MORNING

the top of the flair isnt where im seeing a problem its where the bottom of the flair and the tire meet

I had that same problem when I squeezed the 35's on before we did my SOA. I was running about the same lift setup as you at the time. That's why it's hard to imagine you're getting any rub at all from 31's. I snapped a pic of what I did back then to remedy the problem:

I too say your springs have probably seen better days. Does the rear sit much lower than the front?
