Main area of concern will be frame rust. There are frame repair kits, and being able to weld will help you get a good jeep cheap.

*Very important*: marking yourself as "Going" in the FB event is great but registration MUST be done via Eventbrite. Tickets go on sale December 1st with the sale of 2024 memberships. Ticket Link will be provided then. Deadline for tickets will be January 13th, 2024.
Where: Schaefer's Canal House. Note that this is in the banquet hall, it's the building right next to the main Schaefer's entrance.
When: Saturday January 27th, 2024. The room and bar will open at 6pm, food service will start at 700. Bar closes at 9pm but conveniently there is a bar open right next door in the main building.
How much: Free for 2024 members so get your membership in! We'll be feeding everyone buffet style. Cost for non-members is $33/pp. Kids are $17/each. Plus Eventbrite fees because manually tracking attendance via signups here is a nightmare. There will be a cash bar. Payment for non-members will need to be completed by 01/13/23 for a final head count.

Friday evening weather is looking amazing. Still tickets available. Tailgating stats at 4pm. See event for meet up location. Grilling is allowed. Come on out and hang and play a game of Cornhole, even if you cant make the game. Drivers meeting is at 5:30. See everyone then.

We will do our best to accommodate everyone. They really don't want any more that we had last year which was 35, perhaps we can try one or two more if everyone gets really close. We will have a drivers meeting at 5:30 before we head into the game. The basic plan is at the start of the 7th we head out to our jeeps, drive around the stadium and line up along the back. At the end of the game, they will direct us in, we drive slow along the out field, then down around home plate up to the gate and stop.
Important:
- Please pull up very close to each other so everyone can fit.
- Once we are all stopped, please turn off your engines and lights during the fireworks.
- After the fireworks, we will roll out.
- Meet up at Taco Grande for post mall crawl event.

Rules are double elimination (even though doing the brackets is a PITA). Overall winner and 2nd Place take home prizes (TBD) Minimum one DEJA member per team. If there are two members who win, a prize custody agreement will need to be established, DEJA will not pay the lawyer fees nor support your endless battle in court or therapy for the children. No other entry fees besides being a DEJA member. If you're without a surf tag we'll find a way to get you on the sand just let us know. We will have a few raffle items to give away as well ! We'll also need a few people to bring their boards so we can have multiple games running at once.
All rules regarding actively surf fishing. etc must be followed and s always, we will do a beach clean up prior to tossing bags.
Official Details.
When: 8/12/23 Games start at 10ish. Suggested to are on the beach by 9am. Reservations are required for Navy crossing. You will need to book on Tuesday August 8th at 11am. We will be happy to drive you onto the beach as needed.
Where: Cape Henlopen, Navy Crossing, left past the great dune at the DEJA adopt a beach sign.

Last year's event was a smashing success and we have been invited back again this year.
Up to 35 Jeeps will parade around the field after the game then we get to watch the fireworks from the field !

Blue Rocks Update and parade instructions.
1. Sign up below, the 1st 35 Jeeps get in, we will also have 5 stand by spots.
1. All will meet up for tailgating pre game party 4ish. (see map) Cooking is cool.
2. At the beginning of the 7th inning, we head out to our Jeeps then drive to the staging area.
3. At the end of the game , they will announce DEJA and we enter the field, drive along the outfield, then around the infield. Lead Jeep will stop at the last bleacher. Try to space out evenly
4. During the fireworks please turn off your all your lights (parking lights ok).
5. After the event, we will meet at Taco Grande for after game drinks.

Important, with the new reservation system you will need to make your beach reservation on Wed June 28 at11am to ensure a drive on reservation. If you dont have a tag or reservation, you can still come out. Members will be happy to drive you out.
This event is always a favorite. You dont want to miss it.
Sorry for the late post on this one. Time got away from me. Hope to see the regular crowd as well as some new faces out there . Many of us share special food , snacks , drinks ext. Makes the event more social. Not required at all. Grilling and 100% self contained fires for cooking are allowed on the beaches as well as well behaved leashed dogs . Event starts at 9am, but many of us will be out there earlier. We will be meeting up at our usual location, left at the crossing, just past the big dune. post if you will need a ride onto the beach, we will be sure to accommodate you.
