welcome! post a pic of your jeep when you get a chance.
also, you should look for us on facebook, there is much more traffic there. DEJA has a group and a page.

"When: Saturday January 14th, 2020."
time machine required...

that looks like it was an awesome trip. i hope to do something similar one day

welcome. nice jeep. be sure to check out our FB official and group pages
-
i would love to see it open. it closed just before i started wheeling. i think that has given a mystical allure to me, haha

I have the uV 9g Handheld. Wasn’t sure if a higher wattage was needed or if the handheld is enough for rides.
within a group, hand held is fine. if we split into multiple groups, then higher wattage would be an advantage for group to group communication

jeeps have AC??

next in line

welcome. find the group on FB. there is an official page and a group page. there is more traffic on those than on this forum. we try to do a group ride every month and there is almost always someone with an extra seat

neither. assuming you will be around $80-100k on one of them, just build a TJ or JK for $50k. it would be the baddest thing around and still save you enough money to buy a relatively nice daily driver. these new vehicle prices are literally just plain stupid...
if i were to be gifted one and had to keep it, probably the jeep. i just really like gas v8s
-
new exhaust tip and a new u-joint. still need to track down the vibrations though
-
i swear i will make it to one of these. my 2nd daughter is due sunday so i am gonna have to miss this. i hope you all have a good time

congrats, and welcome back. the forum doesn't get as much traffic as you probably remember from 2010, but DEJA does have a facebook page that gets more than this site does
-
that is a couple things. first, you are actually going farther than your jeep thinks it is, so your mileage didn't really drop by that much (just a bit less) unless you re-programed it. second, most of the loss of mpg is due to weight of the heavier tire (thicker/heavier/tougher construction), and a more aggressive tread pattern.
