put a rubber band and sandwhich baggy over your distributer.

some people leave it running when they spray it. that way you can see if you stumble it with to much water.

Hmmm...good point, either you pi** someone off, they give you some sh*t, or tell you to f*** off (which while technically a bodily function requires two people to be done well).

Is this part of your election speech?

My god it's getting deep in here.

Paul you really sound like you know what your talking about. Maybe I should set up a class with you to figure out the whole topo thingy and maps and what not. I fell asleep trying to read the book.

I have a sport trak, I love the thing, but should learn how to use all it's options.

check with Icky and Chris, they do the trek, geo caching adventures and can point you in the right direction.

I have a magellan sport trak.. I love the thing.

well this event went over like a fart in church for me. I been driving the wag all week to find any problems that I may have, hoping they might pop up. Nothing showed up and I enjoyed the nightly drives. Sat. morning I go out and somebody cut my CB antenna off that I just installed 8pm the night before. I should have just said to hell with it and stopped there. But I continued. As i got to the commodore barry bridge to cross into Jersey, electrical smoke started pouring out of the dash, the entire cab filled with smoke. pulled off road and shut it down. With fire exinguisher in hand I rip open the dash yanking out the radio looking for the source, Non can be found. I opened the hood and nothing found there either. I wait for the smoke to clear. and see if it will start. It does. so I figure to hell with it i'm still going. I head over to the Pines and meet up with the 12 other FSJ's when I go to turn off the wag. the key seems really tight. Finally get it shut off and realize the heater fan is still running with keys in hand. Ahh now I know where the smoke came from. Open the hood and disconnect the heater fan to not drain the battery. I talk with the others in the group, and we figure out that the ignition switch is bad, tight key with no spring back after starting. so weighing all the options I decide if I had smoke once and with the key problem now. the last place I want to be is in the woods with possible fire hazard, plus a full tank of gas. I grab my keys and start it up having to move the key back to disengage the starter. and proceed home to be in a pissed off mood for the entire weekend. So with the electrical problems my best bet is to part out the wag and start over with a new Rig.

I got a call from a friend his neighbor has a 1991 Grand wagoneer that is for sale. Going to go look at it next week.

I didn't set this up but from what I read this one is a FSJ event only, dunno why. But i do understand. But they are going to do another one in the fall. not sure if will be the sames rules or not. I know they are only giving gift bags to members who bring FSJ's.

Details on the events can be found here at http://www.ifsja.org

i found another set of rabbit ears, do you want them?

yeah I wastold the rear bearing is pressed in. So i'll check it out. I'm going away for the weekend to the Pine Barrens with the FSJ club. I will do the bearing when I get back. hmmm maybe I'll actually have some pictures of my jeep on a trail ride. Now that would be different. :hmm:
