Does it come with mounting hardware? Thst could be an issue....
Yes it does. I asked him about that. Gonna be interesting putting it on with a winter weather advisory tomorrow. But hopefully it will be worth it.

Thanks M.Y. . Never even thought about the cold and the windows.
Need a little help from the DEJA Jeep gurus. I found a hard top for my JKU but I don't have a trailer or vehicle to pick it up with in Doylestown, PA. So I was thinking about driving up in my JKU, removing the soft top and mounting the hard top on the Jeep. I know I'll have to remove the soft top, hardware and door surrounds. Are there any other pitfalls with this plan that you can think of? Also, I seem to recall reading that you need to reprogram the vehicle once the top is on. Is this reprogramming needed for the wiper only? Thanks!
They don't have any brand markings on them. Pretty worn out grips though. I'm just glad they didn't fall out and hit anyone's car on the way back home.
So I had to take my 09 JkU to the dealer for my 5 year drivetrain inspection to maintain my lifetime warranty. When I got it home I popped the hood and found the valve cover breather hose removed from the air box and tucked up by the battery tray and a pair of channel locks in the hood compartment. Was supposed to take my ZJ up there for a recall but just left a message to cancel my appointment. Pretty sad.
That is sharp!
I thought it was a great place. I would vote to return there for our next meeting.
Well, I don't know which is which so you can look at both sets. You can have them for free if they meet your need. Like I said I'll be at Henlopen tomorrow around 10:00 or so so stop by and you can take a look.
Mine had to be replaced at around 3 years as well.
I have 4 springs (2 front and 2 back) that I could dig out of the shed you could take a look at and see if they fit your need. I have no idea how many miles they have on them as I got them as an "added bonus" when I bought some used wheels for my '97 ZJ. Im going to be down at Henlopen tomorrow morning and can throw them in the back of the JK if you're around.

Thanks flutterby!
Thanks. Not sure why that happened. I tried to delete it but it wouldn't let me.
I am cleaning up my garage and getting rid of one of the old cabinets. It is about 42''L x 24'' H x 12'' D.
1 plastic and 1 metal tool box in fair shape. All latches work and each one has a tray. $5 donation to Jeeps for Joy for each if interested.
Welcome!
Welcome from a fellow MOTer!
Quadna and Knox you guys rock!
I have been looking on line for a picture or part diagram but couldn't find anything that showed the split. I appreciate the response and the fact that I don't have to strangle the steering wheel waiting for the thing to let loose tomorrow morning.
I was under the 2009 JK today changing the oil and I noticed that my front right upper control arm bracket is split (pics below). I am not sure how or when this happened as I have never done any wheeling other than surf fishing and no grand canyon pot hole hits so far either. I assume that I will need to get this cut off and a new one welded back on the axle. Anyone know if there are any other options or where I could get this repaired at a reasonable price?
Thanks again.
