Got a good deal on a new splitter so its for sale. Works good. I split everything I tried to with it. Basic horizontal vertical splitter. Asking $750.
I bought it used a few years ago and have probably split 4-5 cords with it.
It's in Norristown, PA area zip code 19403.
I'll get decent pictures up soon. I would trailer it home as it has a non original one that has a wider hub than it should. I have the original one with a blown tire that goes with it.

I think you are right. I checked some manufacturer's sites and they list them as fitting pretty much all 44's except aluminum ones. Thanks

Will JK dana 44 diff covers fit any dana 44? I tried Google but I am not great with it. I know the JK 44's are a new generation of them, just don't know about the covers?

Pulled it in garage at work, breaker had worked itself loose from the fuse box. Then the battery , taken from my CJ8, crapped out. 5 minutes earlier it cranked the Jeep fine and fired up in 1 second. Jumped it and drove home with wipers, parked it and it would not start. I didn't realize how expensive batteries have gotten. $125+ at all chain parts stores.

Saturday I replaced a headlight switch, wipers blades, master cylinder gasket, and got a brake light working. Got my new '86 CJ7 PA inspected and put some miles on it yesterday. Drove it to work today with no wipers, WTF, they worked Saturday. The joys of old Jeep ownership. Gotta see if I can get them working so I don't have to drive home in the rain without any wipers. The drive to work without them in the rain was less than ideal.

Most body shops will not want anything to do with it. Most anymore just want to do insurance work. A hot rod/custom type of shop might be your best bet as far as shops go. Some members here would probably be a cheaper bet and just as good.

I replaced 4 ball joints on my old 03 ram 1500 2 summers ago. First time doing it. Not that hard, borrowed front end kit from autozone and advance auto. That had torsion bar independent front suspension. Would have been so much easier on a solid front axle. I did a steering rack and tie rod ends and it took a weekend in a driveway. Not hard, just took some time.

I made 401 inches turn former dinosaurs into noxious gases for the first time in 4 months.

I don't think you need it if no O2 sensors after it. I would still recommend a tail pipe, here's why. My first Jeep was a CJ8. The exhaust after the muffler fell off. I left it that way, with a half cab, it would pass imspection. Guess where the frame started to rust, yep, right above the end of my exhaust system. TJ's are getting a reputation like CJ's to have frame rust issues, it just seems like it is not taking as long for TJ's to have issues as it did CJ's. All the condensation built up and started sped up the rusting.
A dump will also stir up more dust on a dry trail that a rear exit pipe. The guys behind you might appreciate that also.

Been there, done that. Scares the hell out of you. Did the shaft mess up your floor at all?
